How we hire:
At Automio we hire the best and to achieve this we do things a little differently.
Our recruitment process will vary for some positions but generally, you’ll go through our process in the following order.
1. Your Application
Step #1: We ask you to take the DISC assessment here. This gives us insight into your personality profile and lets us understand how you’re able to embrace and leverage your assets in your career and how you can enjoy greater authenticity in everything you do.
Optional Step #2: You have the option whether you would like to take the StrengthsFinders assessment here (note there is a $19.99 USD fee to take this assessment, hence it is not mandatory and will not be held against you if you don’t submit it).
Step #3: We ask you to respond to the job posting via email with:
- Your assessment results from step #1 (required) & #2 (if you are able).
- Your CV.
- A 1 – 2 minute video about why we should hire you.
- A specific fun phrase or word we specify for the particular role written in the subject line (so we know you’re paying attention).
2. Application Review and Shortlisting
We take the opportunity to review your application showcasing your background and how it fits in with what we’re looking for in our new hire. Our top picks for the role will be shortlisted.
3. Group Interview
You’ll be invited to join us in a group interview with up to 4 other candidates. We’ll cover expectations, what you’ll need to succeed, and what working on the team might look like along with a light group discussion and Q&A.
4. One to One Interview
If your group interview went well you’ll have a one to one interview with your future direct manager as well as an additional interview with one of the Automio senior team. During these conversations, we’ll get to learn more about each other and most importantly, ensure our values are in alignment.
5. Test Project
If you get to this stage it means we are really interested in hiring you. This is your opportunity to work with us as if you’re already a member of our team in a lite way. It’s just as important for us to see what it is like to work with you, as it is for you to see what it is like to work with us! Give it your best, and if it goes well, we’ll make you an offer.
At this point, test project complete! If it went well and we enjoy working together you’ll receive an offer from our team that, if you accept, will be the start of a rewarding and exciting journey with Automio.
